Smart Cross-Platform Import: Travel Tips to Maps in Seconds

With inspiration and valuable location information scattered across various platforms, we've introduced a cross-platform import feature in v1.9.1 to help creators quickly consolidate these dispersed details into their maps.

Say goodbye to the tedious task of manually entering locations and start planning your trips with ease!

Seamlessly integrate your travel inspiration

Whether you've saved locations from Xiaohongshu (RED) travel guides, Dianping collections, Apple Maps, or Google Maps, exping can now swiftly identify and import this information into your map, streamlining the map creation process.

Xiaohongshu (RED)

• Open the desired note in Xiaohongshu and tap the Share icon in the top right corner.
• Select Copy link

Dianping

• Navigate to your profile and tap "Personal Homepage" in the top right.
• Go to "Collections" and choose the one you want to import.
• Tap the share icon and copy the link.

Apple Maps Guides

1. Open Apple Maps and swipe up to access "My Guides".
2. Select your desired guide, swipe up again, tap the share icon, and copy the guide link.

Google Maps

1. Tap Saved and choose the list you want to import.
2. Hit the Share icon and copy the list link.

Importing to exping map

• Open your target map in exping and tap Import at the bottom.
• Select Import from other platforms.
• Paste your copied link and tap Import.
• Review the locations to be added. Tap the ✔️ next to any location you wish to exclude.
• Finalize by tapping Add to map.
