Introducing Map Duplicate, One click to copy exping map

tl;dr Version v1.8.1 brings you a long-awaited feature – Map Duplicate. You can copy your own maps with one click, and create a brand new map based on the original map. If other creators’ maps have “Allow Maps to be Copied” enabled, you can also copy other people’s maps with one click to efficiently “copy” cheats.

How to Copy a Map

01 Copying Your Own Maps

Go to "Creation", locate the map you want to copy, click the "..." menu on the map card, and select "Copy Map"

02 Copying Maps from Others

You can only copy another creator's map if they have enabled the "Allow map to be copied" option for their public maps.

Navigate to "Explore", open the map you wish to copy, and click "Copy Map" next to the map's title. This will create a copy in your creation center for further editing.

Use Cases

01 Sharing Travel Guides

As a travel expert, you can organize your personal travel routes and rich experiences on a map. By generating a new share link and enable Map Duplicate , you can share this map for a fee with those who trust your taste. This allows others to follow in your footsteps while creating their own authentic travel experiences.

02 Work Handovers

When your work involves presenting information or results on maps - such as real estate listings, delivery routes for salespeople, store management for businesses, tour planning for travel agencies, or exhibition layouts for event organizers - you can generate a new share link and enable Map Duplicate to securely share map content with colleagues during handovers.

This method effectively prevents unauthorized access to sensitive map information.

03 Sharing Personal Records

When you want to share maps that document your daily life but need to protect sensitive information - like personal growth milestones, date locations with your partner, or family outing memories that might include photos and detailed descriptions - you can use the "Map Duplicate" feature.

This creates an identical new map, allowing you to remove or simplify sensitive details before sharing.
