I. Change Phone Number
Step 1
In「Profile」- 「Edit Account Information」,select 「Change Phone Number」
Step 2
Enter the verification code sent to your current phone number (if you cannot receive the code, you can choose the other two methods: use password and email verification)
Step 3
After your current phone number is verified, you need to enter a new phone number for verification again
Step 4
The change is successful, you can now log in to exping with your new phone number
II. Change Email
Step 1
In 「Profile」- 「Edit Account Information」, select 「Change Email」
Step 2
Enter verification sent to your current email (if you cannot receive the email, you can choose the other two methods: use password and SMS verification)
Step 3
After your current email is verified, you need to enter a new email for verification again
Step 4
The change is successful, you can now log in to exping with your new email
You need to have a phone number bound before unbinding an email
If you cannot receive emails from the email you want to unbind currently, you can choose other two verification methods: 1. Phone number verification 2. Login password verification
Step 1
「Profile」-「Settings」-「Account & Safety」, click「Unbind Email」
Step 2
In the email you want to unbind, click「Confirm Verification」in the mailbox, then go back to the app
Step 3
Verification successful, email unbound successfully
You can apply to delete your account via「Profile → Settings → Account & Safety → Delete Account」in the app.
Why haven't I received a response to my previous email deletion request?
The in-app account deletion feature has been available since v1.2.0, August 1, 2022. Deletion requests made via email and confirmed before this date have all been processed. If your request was not processed, it is likely because you did not confirm the deletion in a timely manner. Please update to the latest app version and re-apply to delete your account in-app.
